Telehealth Therapy

Flexible When Life Gets Busy

At Pikes Peak Family Counseling, we are always able to offer telehealth sessions and recognize the important role they play in making therapy more accessible. At the same time, our practice centers on face to face, relational work. There is something uniquely meaningful about sharing space together, and it is often where the depth of connection and clinical work can grow most naturally. When possible, PPFC encourages clients to meet in person.

We also stay flexible and responsive to real life needs. Telehealth can be a helpful option for busy school schedules, weather disruptions, transportation challenges, illness, college students living away from Colorado Springs, or other situations where getting to the office is not feasible. Our goal at Pikes Peak Family Counseling is to meet clients where they are while maintaining the quality, consistency, and care that define our work.

Using Telehealth When It Makes Sense

Many clients at PPFC use telehealth occasionally rather than all the time. A client might usually meet in person but switch to virtual sessions during finals week, sports seasons, illness, travel, or bad weather. This helps therapy stay consistent even when life gets busy or unpredictable.

Telehealth works best when clients have a private space, a stable internet connection, and are able to stay engaged in the session without distractions. When used this way, it can be a practical and effective option.

Scheduling Telehealth Sessions

If you are interested in scheduling telehealth sessions, you can talk with your therapist or reach out to our office to discuss options. We are always happy to work with clients and families to find a plan that keeps therapy consistent and helpful, whether that is in person, virtual, or a combination of both.
