Finding your motivation for change

Sometimes people know they want things to be different, but they feel stuck, unsure, or not ready to make a change yet. Motivational Interviewing is a counseling approach that helps people explore their goals, values, and motivation so they can begin making changes when they feel ready and confident.

This approach is supportive and non judgmental. Instead of being told what to do, clients work with their therapist to talk through decisions, explore mixed feelings, and figure out what really matters to them.
