Kara (she/her) holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Sioux Falls and a master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of South Dakota. With 15 years of experience in school-based counseling, along with a background in residential treatment, Kara brings a depth of knowledge and dedication to her work.

She is deeply committed to supporting children and adolescents as they navigate life’s challenges, using a trauma-informed and solution-focused approach. Kara prioritizes building authentic, empathetic, and collaborative therapeutic relationships where each client feels valued, understood, and supported. Her goal is to empower clients with practical tools and strategies that foster growth, resilience, and overall well-being.
